4-Rope Coke Handling Clamshell Buckets Application: Hawco 4-rope coke buckets are designed for use on overhead cranes working at coke pits in refineries. These buckets are of rugged construction to withstand the punishment of this application. To prevent wet fines from packing in lower sheave nest, the lower sheave nest is raised and provided with adequate drain passages beneath the sheaves. Buckets are fitted with perforated bowl scoops for water drainage, allowing the bucket to pick up more coke than water.
